So, hi. If you’re listening to my voice right now, you’ve found the future home of the StrategyCar podcast. I’m Alaina Wiens, you’re…driver? Sure. Driver.
For almost 4 years, StrategyCar was a weekly Twitter chat for the higher ed web community. That’s back when I was working in higher ed, on web and content strategy for the University of Michigan-Flint. But then in 2015 I left higher ed after more than a decade to do web and marketing for the Chamber and visitors bureau in Flint, Michigan.
From where I sit today, I see a huge opportunity to use the web to connect people with the things they need—and with each other.
I’m on a mission. I want the web to be better.
It feels incredibly complicated and simple at the same time.
